The 'King' of Ringwood - David King to celebrate 300 Premier 1st XI Matches

Current Ringwood skipper David King will in Round 3 become just the 15th player in Victorian Men's District/Premier Cricket history to reach the 300 1st XI Match Milestone, the 8th to have played all of their 1st XI Matches at the same club and becomes the first Ringwood player to do so.


At the time of writing, David's list of achievements is a testament to his longevity in the sport. David currently has the most Matches played of any active player in Victorian Premier Cricket and sits 8th in the all-time 1st XI run scorers.


Career Stats (as of completion of Round 2)

299 Matches, 316 innings, 30 not outs, 10,617 runs @ 37.12, High Score 171* vs Monash Tigers 2011/12, 20 centuries, 61 half centuries.


271 wickets @ 22.59, Best Bowling 6/31 vs Footscray Edgewater 2007/08 (including Hat Trick), 2 x 5 wicket hauls, 102 catches.
