Geelong finished emphatic winners over Prahran in the Female Under 15 Marg Jennings Cup Grand Final at Ringwood on Thursday 25 January.
Geelong’s Grace Potter was presented with the Raelee Thompson Medal as Player of the Final having made 43 runs and taking 2/21 with the ball. Special thanks to Raelee Thompson and also to Marg Jennings for making the presentations at the match.
Both Geelong and Prahran had progressed to the Grand Final in impressive fashion having been undefeated through their 5 preliminary matches.
The tournament reverted to the Under 15 age group for the first time this season as part of Cricket Victoria’s re-modelled Player Pathway.
