Cats blitz True Blues to secure Men’s U18 title

Congratulations to Geelong Cricket Club, who proved too good for Prahran Cricket Club at the Merv Hughes Oval last Sunday, claiming a 150-run victory in the Men’s Premier U18 Competition.

Geelong’s Nathan Harper was named the Player of the Match for his match winning performance with the ball, grabbing 4/14 from 5 overs to rip through the talented top order of the True Blues.
Across the match there were a number of other individual performances of note: Geelong’s Santhosh Ramireddy top scored with 62 from 75 balls whilst teammate Liam Biddiscombe made 39 with the bat and backed it up with 3/6 with the ball. Full Scorecard
The Men’s Premier Under 18 Competition tournament was created in 2023 and this was the second season of the competition for forms part of Cricket Victoria’s re-modelled Player Pathway.
